Mewna started with two cat people, a houseful of fussy critics, and one simple question: why is it so hard to buy a treat made of just one good thing?

Walk down the treat aisle and most of it is built for dogs, with cats added as an afterthought. Bright bags, long ingredient lists, and a fair few things you would struggle to pronounce.
Mewna is the opposite of an afterthought. We make cat-first treats with one plain promise: you should always know exactly what you are giving, and your cat should genuinely want it. No mystery, no overclaiming, no filler dressed up as goodness.

We are two cat lovers with a full house and a loud chorus of opinions at dinner time. Like most cat parents, we spent years reading the backs of treat packets and quietly wondering what half the list actually was.
We wanted one thing we could not buy: a freeze-dried treat that was simply 100% British chicken, and nothing else. No fillers, no mystery, no squinting. So we made it, and the range grew from there.
